PROCESS

Using the box board pattern i have made earlier, i made a pattern according to my technical drawing.

Not sure why, but the sizes of the pattern is way too big for the size 12 mannequin, i was quite confused at first, but then i decided to pin the paper on dummy and adjust the sizes accordingly. This process is quite tricky at first as paper is not flexible but fixing it slowly works for me. 

After making sure that the adjustments are right, i proceed to the next step, which is fabric cutting.

Sewing process went quite well for me, except i did not know how to sew lining at first. So i tried to figure out and made few mistakes while doing that, but i quickly get the hang of it. 

Another trouble i face is my dress being too small if i were to attach the zipper, but i solved this problem by opening the stitches and taking up some fabric from my seam allowance, as well as placing the zipper slightly down on my look 1 as the zipper is too short and won't make the dress wearable if i place it on top like normal, but it works and doesn't look off, YAY !

After finishing my sewing, i start making lots of fabric manipulation with Q-tips based on the final sample. 

Attaching it to the garment is quite tricky as i wanted the shape to be in harmony and look like all the different shapes belong to each other. I made few adjustments here and there, and i did it !
